Linda Joyce Vandehey, 70, a resident of the Cornelius community passed away on December 2, 2019 at her son's home in Cornelius.

Linda was born on July 20, 1949 in Portland, OR She was one of two children born to Joseph and Elna (Caven) Kirchgraber. She was raised in St John's.

She met her future husband, Daniel "Dan" Vandehey, while she was working as a waitress. They soon began dating and they married on November 27, 1970 in Forest Grove. They made their home in Cornelius and had two children Jason and Adam.

Linda was a home maker and a working mother. She enjoyed 1970's and 1960's music and visiting the casino. She especially enjoyed gatherings with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother; David.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dan, two sons Jason Vandehey of Hillsboro and Adam Vandehey of Cornelius. four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
