Edith Louise Mary Margaret “Edie” Blanchard, 77, of Forest Grove, Oregon, passed away October 12, 2004 in Portland, Oregon.

Edith was born in Brooklyn, New York to Leroy and Anna Peterson on April 11, 1927. She attended school in Brooklyn and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Secaucus, New Jersey. She enjoyed garage sales, soap operas, country music and her family.

Edith is proceeded in death by her parents Leroy and Anna, two brothers, John Peterson and William Peterson; her twin sister Anna Deninger, and her husband Herbert J Blanchard.

Edith is survived by her sister Margaret Peterson of New York; two brothers Robert Peterson and Edgar Peterson both of New York; two sons Herbert J. Blanchard Jr. of Lake Oswego, Oregon, Stephan J. Blanchard of Gales Creek, Oregon; a daughter Collette E. Blanchard of Portland, Oregon; Nine grandchildren, Ashley Blanchard, Bethany Blanchard, Amanda Blanchard, Cody Blanchard, Jenna Rose Blanchard, Colette Nguyen, Craige Blasi, Kristine Midkiff, Mathew Midkiff; two great grandchildren Sierra Nguyen and Logan Nguyen
