David "Dave" Joseph Cawrse, 80, a resident of the Tillamook community passed away on October 2, 2020 at his home.

Dave was born on January 22, 1940 in Forest Grove, OR He was one of two sons born to Lorain and Dorothy (VanLoo) Cawrse. He was raised in Verboort and attended Forest Grove High School.

He joined the US Army and here he learned a life trade as a diesel mechanic He was honorably discharged in 1960.

Dave worked as a mechanic for White Motors in Portland until his retirement in 1996. He enjoyed the outdoors, golfing fishing and camping. He also drove race cars and dirt bikes. He was an accomplished billiards player.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a son; Bobby Reichow

He is survived by his wife, Debbie, five children and their spouses; Vicki and Dave Elderidge of Snohomish, WA, Debra Cawrse of Beaverton, DJ and Rodney Gage of Berryoille, Ark, Buck and Pam Reichow of Tillamook, Josh Ferguson of Banks, his brother and sister-in-law; Dan and Kari Cawrse of Verboort ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
