Obituary

REGINA "AGNES' HEESACKER was born on May 11, 1928 in Hillsboro, Oregon, the daughter of the late Henry A. Heesacker and Theresa Margaret (Kindel) Heesacker. She was raised and received her education in the Verboort community. She had worked for the Hudson House Cannery for twentytwo years before she began working for the Henningsen Cold Storage Company in Forest Grove on June 4, 1973. Agnes had been a secretary for seventeen years until December of 1990 when she retired because of health reasons. She was a lifelong member of the Visitation Parish in Verboort. Among her special interests she enjoyed dancing in her younger years, visiting the Oregon Coast, reading and flowers. She also had a special love for visiting with her friends. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Leona M. Langdon on August 4, 1984; and Rita L. Heesacker on December 27, 1990. Agnes passed away on Wednesday morning, September 25, 1991 at the St. Vincent Hospital and Medical Center in Portland. She is survived by a brother-in-law, B.T. "Buzz" Langdon of Portland, Oregon; two nieces, Bernadette M. Langdon of Portland, Oregon; and Rosemary A. Martin of Newark, New Jersey; two nephews, Wrex H. Langdon of Portland. Oregon; and David E. Langdon, serving in the U.S. Marines, stationed at Quantico, Virginia; two grand-nephews, Richard L. Martin of Newark, New Jersey; and Thomas D. Langdon of Quantico, Virginia; and special friends, Alice Swingseth of Portland, Oregon; Carolyn Ashton and Shirley Jones both of Forest Grove, Oregon; and a host of friends and neighbors. *************** The family suggests that remembrances may be made to the REGINA "AGNES" HEESACKER MEMORIAL FUND, %Visitation Catholic Church, Rt. 2, Box 222, Forest Grove, OR 97116, in her memory.
